The LTAD Baseball/Softball Program will be held on Monday & Wednesday evenings. Kids will spend 30 minutes developing their athleticism. We target balance, stability, coordination, mobility, and 30 minutes of baseball/softball skill development. We target fielding, throwing, batting and in game Fundamentals. Our philosophy is simple first we create great athletes then we create great ball players.

Prior baseball skills are not needed to participate in this progam.
According to Dr. Greg Rose, a founder of TPI, the Junior Performance Center (from which my program is based) is different from traditional methods of teaching baseball to youngsters, in which children spend hours at the batting cages or private lessons. “Instead, this program is based on the principles of long-term athlete development – rooted in understanding how the body interacts with the brain at different stages of life,” he says. “We believe it will help take baseball to the next level in this country." The goal of the program is to help them develop the FUNdamental Movement Skills that they are desperately lacking in today's culture of computers, video games and athletic early specialization.
